The Swiss COOP introduces new, reusable organic packaging from Graz

... for fruit and vegetables – helping them stay fresh for longer! The bag and drawstring – as well as the nifty stopper, turned in a local workshop – are made from FSC-certified beechwood sourced from local forest thinning. Developed by VPZ Verpackungszentrum, the reusable bag is the ultimate shopping basket accessory for all plastic-free consumers. Since November the bags are sold in sets of three in the fruit and vegetable section of Swiss supermarket chain COOP, as an alternative to LDPE plastic bags.
